This ancient qigong exercise is meant to awaken energy within us by drawing on the spirit of animals such as the crane, bear, monkey, deer and tiger. No experience is necessary.

Or head for the hills with the Ice Age Trail Full Moon Hike at the Lodi Marsh State Wildlife Area. The hikers leave at 8 p.m. on May 2 from the Hwy. 113 trailhead, just south of Lodi. For more info, call 592-5666. Spring's a beautiful time to hike in the moonlight.
