Today's image is titled morning rush hour and was photographed by JonAnne Hobbs.
Madison is in the grips of the first snowstorm of the year. A total accumulation of 2 to 5 inches is expected through the early afternoon, as south-central Wisconsin gets grazed by the northern edge of a much larger storm that's dumping upwards of a foot or more of snow through a swath of Illinois. More details about the ongoing storm can be found in winter weather advisory updates from the Milwaukee/Sullivan forecast office for the National Weather Service. This photo depicts the morning rush hour traffic on East Gorham Street in the heart of Madison.
