"I started focusing on the stark, black branches against this foggy sky, but the more I stood there and looked, the more I noticed and started to appreciate the amazing carpet of color below the tree... greens, yellows, reds, purples," notes Zemlicka in a These vestigal summer colors are largely a memory now, and while the autumn foliage continues to brighten in huge, this too will soon be fading fast, so make the most of this warm and sunny weekend.
