The Dairyland Dolls won decisively over the Burning River Roller Girls in a Saturday night bout by a score of 140-74. This shot captures three skaters in action on the famed flat track at Fast Forward Skate Center, and is one of a report. "The ladies from Cleveland have put together some impressive defensive strategies, and they were out to control the front of the pack in this bout against a more experienced and higher ranked DD team. But, watch out for Burning River next year."
Saturday marked the final home bout and the penultimate match of the 2008 regular traveling season for the Dairyland Dolls, with only a September 15 showdown against the Texecutioners in Austin remaining. That's not the end of the track for the squad, though, as the , over the weekend of October 10-12 at the Coliseum, so there will be plenty more bruising in town this autumn.
