Happy Memorial Day Madison. Seven Wisconsinites have died in Iraq and Afghanistan in the last year.
It was hot as hell yesterday and it's simply hot today. Nothing higher than 79 with a low of 54 at night. Since I forgot to take pictures of some of the food I ate in Door County which is especially inconsiderate because Jason Joyce recently gave me four AA batteries for my camera I have no choice but to revert to my regular sources, who managed to find this meat sandwich at Page Street Pizza.
Did you see Roy Halladay of my Phillies pitch a perfect game on Saturday? I didn't unfortunately I only got the highlights. Only the 20th in history. Bob Fest has nothing to do with Fighting Bob Fest. But it's becoming a Madison tradition.

For the last year-and-a-half I've been poring over this presidential election map. Click on Wisconsin and see how each county voted. Notice that in Steve Kagen's district only two counties voted Republican. In Dave Obey's district, three.
The Emerald Ash problem, which I have yet to wikipedia, continues in Wisconsin. Lawmakers are growing wary.
Seriously, if you don't have car insurance "less than helpful."
Spencer Black calls for increased dumping tax to keep other states' trash out of Wisconsin
Not as much as New York, but Wisconsin did get some serious Medicare cash in the health care bill.
