I was just reading the wikipedia entry for beer pong when I came across this slightly disturbing piece of information:
For non-drinkers, the game may be played without beer, as is done at Utah State University, where alcohol is not allowed on campus-root beer is used instead.
What's sad is that there are even places in Wisconsin that are stooping to such low standards of partying. University Housing at UW used to sponsor root beer kegs all the time. As , it probably takes fewer root beers to make you vomit than PBRs. Plus, it's condescending to young adults to treat them like children. If you want them to make good choices and be healthy, offer them a spread of fruits and soy milk.
I was very glad to read Robin Shepard's review of Pabst Blue Ribbon. ALthough I think he may have gotten the alcohol content wrong, I think he got just about everything else right, including the rating of three bottle openers out of four.
