If you have no idea what the Dan Potacke Show is, you're not alone. I received more than a couple furrowed brows when I told people I would be appearing on the show this Monday, Sept. 6, 6:30 p.m. at The Frequency bar at 121 W. Main St.
I always assumed Potacke was some radio personality. The reality is much better. He is the pathetic, bumbling alter-ego of Alan Talaga, a comedian who hails from Black River Falls, who hosts a live comedy show every Monday during happy hour at The Frequency.
Please come and show your support as I spread the message of Sconz Nation at the Frequency. I really have no idea what is expected of me, specifically, how much happy hour I am supposed to indulge in before the show starts. Either way, I'm sure it will be a spectacle.
If you do come, please say hi before or after. I regret that I haven't created more opportunities to meet readers. I like meeting ANYBODY who has read my blog, including Steve Sloan. It would be interesting to see whether he speaks in caps as often as he writes in them.
