Common Ground Pottery
Eric Olson learned to throw pots at the old Craftshop at the UW-Madison Memorial Union. For many years, he exhibited at numerous Wisconsin art fairs. Olson now lives in Vero Beach, Fla., but still sells his work on Etsy (etsy.com/shop/CommonGroundPottery). His resist designs on stoneware pots and vases feature classic Arts and Crafts motifs like dragonflies and peace lilies, but also whimsical variants like bug-eyed aliens.
