Milwaukee Brewers fans can be excused for not knowing what you're supposed to do when your team's in the playoffs. After all, it's been 26 years. A lot of you were probably weren't even born the last time the Milwaukee Brewers appeared in the postseason.
So here's the deal: On Wednesday, everybody's wearing Brewers hats to work. See, when your team has a playoff game, especially if it's a day game, then it's not just permissible but downright encouraged to don team-licensed headgear at work. Ryan will be. So will Robin. Why not join them? Don't like the current wheat stem style? Go old school with the Hamburger Helper hand logo then.
Pass it on. Post this to your Facebook profile. Twitter about it! Or just drive around tonight, pick up your friends and take 'em all cap shopping. An all-staff email would not be inappropriate. The streets need to be filled with Brewers hats on Wednesday.
If your workplace is typically pretty dressy and the boss gets on you about the dress code, reply with a snappy "Boss, why do you hate the Brewers so much?"
And don't be bashful to snap a few photos of your similarly be-capped coworkers, which you can upload to the Isthmus Flickr group as a way of showing solidarity with your fellow fans around the city, if not the world.
And should the Brewers win while you're still on the job, don't forget to untuck!
