Step into a celebration of fashion, beauty, design, and flowers. A very special treat in 2015, presented in the spirit of the Museum's annual Art in Bloom, this event struts in for four days, offering exciting new surprises. Beauty in Bloom will transform the Museum, showcasing the talents of regional floral artists and designers in a not-to-be-missed display--and presenting beauty events on fashion, makeup, hair, and more, inspired by the Inspiring Beauty exhibition.

Couture Gardens: A Floral Display
Lush garden scenery and stunning floral arrangements bring spring to the Museum and create the perfect backdrop for Beauty in Bloom's fashion-inspired floral installations. Partnered by Ancora Stone & Tile, Flagstone Landscaping, and New Eden Landscape Architecture.
Gardening, art, fashion, and floral enthusiasts alike will want to visit the colorful marketplaces in the Lower Level and in Baumgartner Galleria. Shop clothing, purses, artisan jewelry, beauty products, garden accessories, and more!
Be refreshed with a quick updo or mini makeover at the Blush Beauty Boutique and Polished Nail Bar.
A distinctive respite new this year, complete with SportsCenter, scotch tastings, cigar bar and products presented by Uhle Tobacco Company, as well as featured barber or shoe shining services by Stag Barbershop.
Inspirational and informative presentations focus on fashion, flowers, and beauty. Highlights include Camille Morgan, guest curator of Inspiring Beauty, speaking on floral design and plant technology in fashion; April Sheridan of The Center for Book and Paper Arts at Columbia College Chicago, discussing the college's unique Papermaker's Garden; and a regional Fashion Blogger Panel and meet-up.
Artist Book Signing: Franne Dickinson

Meet Franne Dickinson, Door County visual artist and owner of Ephraim's Toe Path Studio and Gallery. Her memoir, Stay at the Party Long (at play in the Arts), has received a glowing recommendation from the Museum's own Chief Educator Emeritus Barbara Brown Lee. Dickinson's prose is as colorful as her floral paintings, which dance throughout the memoir.

Acclaimed New York designer Katherine Feiner debuts her 2015 spring designs, alongside gowns and accessories local artists and florist created entirely out of blooms. This premier event also includes hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Limited tickets available.

Make art in projects that are All About Design, in the Kohl's Art Generation Studio, and meet children's book author Lois Ehlert, Saturday and Sunday, March 28-29, 1-4 p.m.
