Breathing, Mindfulness, and Physical Activity: Strategies to Manage Stress and Chronic Fatigue
Learn to manage stress and chronic fatigue during this interactive 2-part workshop series on diaphragmatic breathing, mindful meditation, and physical activity. Participants are encouraged to attend both workshops in the series, but single class attendance is okay.
Workshop 1: Research indicates that diaphragmatic breathing and mindful meditation are tools useful for stress management. Learn the role of breathing and meditation in reducing stress for individuals with cancer, cancer survivors, and caregivers. Practice diaphragmatic breathing and mindfulness so that you can leave the workshop with the ideas on how to utilize these skills at home.
