April 3 @ 9 pm (doors at 8) Brennen Leigh & Noel McKay/Evan Murdock, suggested donation $10
The songs of Brennen Leigh and Noel McKay on Before the World Was Made have a lot in common with John Prine's album of duets In Spite of Ourselves. Their smart, sweet, sassy, and often hilarious tunes will appeal to fans of Loves It! as well as John Prine. Add to that the fact that they are both wicked guitar players and you have a very entertaining show. They were one of my favorite house concerts last year, I can't wait to welcome them back.
Opening will be Evan Murdock, who you may have last seen rocking a Rolling Stones song during Exile on Willy Street at the High Noon. He just released his first record Bad No More, which was recorded in a 100 year old barn. He'll be right at home in the basement.

Reservations will be taken for this show at righteousmusicmgmt@gmail.com. On confirmation there is space available you can guarantee your spot by sending a check to Kiki Schueler, 1326 MacArthur Rd, Madison WI 53714.
Parking Alert
There is now no parking on either side of MacArthur Rd. You can still park on the side streets but allow a little extra time to find a spot. If you park on Ellenwood or Duncan off of Mendota there's a little path up to MacArthur Court which leads right to my door.
All shows are all ages and BYOB, I'll have coolers with ice available. As always, all money goes to the musicians.
