Chasing the Ghost Particle
Tuesday, March 17: 6:30-7:30 PM
Wednesday, March 18: 6:30-7:30 & 7:45-8:45 PM
Deep in the ice at the South Pole, the largest detector in the world waits for mysterious messengers from the cosmos -- tiny particles called neutrinos. Astronomers are using these neutrinos to explore the insides of stars and galaxies, and help us to learn about supernovas and black holes. Join us for this fulldome video program and a brief tour of the current night sky. A model of the detector will also be on display.
Tickets: $2.50. No reservations. Tickets go on sale starting at 6:00 PM each night
