GLASS ANIMALS PREMIERE "BLACK MAMBO" MUSIC VIDEO TODAY
+ special guest GILLIGAN MOSS
LIVE AT THE PABST THEATER
Glass Animals release their new music video for "Black Mambo" today: Watch HERE. The single is from Zaba [Wolf Tone/Harvest]--the UK indie-psychedelic quartet's critically acclaimed debut. The new band is "one of the most exciting bands in Britain in 2014, and Zaba is blessed with musical facets that will blind you with their splendour" according to Clash.
Unleashing this "Black Mambo," the music video pairs the song's calculated catchy refrain and otherworldly instrumentation with striking visuals. It's a dreamy slow burn that's both immediate and irresistible. Millions know the band from their breakout hit "Gooey," which Glass Animals will perform on Late Show with David Letterman Wednesday, February 25, and which was HypeMachine's #1 most-blogged song in 2014 and #2 on Spotify's Worldwide Viral Chart.
Critics have unanimously fallen under their spell too: In a rave review of Zaba, Paste wrote, "The album is bizarre, gorgeous, playful and dark--and it's absolutely mesmerizing." NME agreed, giving it a 9/10 score and stating "their songs have giant heart to go with the giant brain."
Glass Animals finally hit the United States, beginning May 25. In addition their tour, they are also performing at massive festivals this year including Coachella and Bonaroo. They've sold out iconic venues overseas such as London's Shepherd's Bush Empire and countless spots across the U.S. due to their raucous and rowdy performances. Tickets officially go on sale February 13, 2015.
