press release: Just Between Friends of Dane County West is planning their biggest community children’s consignment sales event to date, with tons of fun and fabulous ‘frugal fashions’ for back to school.  Just Between Friends® (JBF), the nation’s largest maternity and children’s consignment sales event franchise, offers the best of retail wrapped up as resale. JBF takes the stigma out of “secondhand,” with strict inspection guidelines to ensure that only the highest quality of gently used items are sold.

During each community children’s consignment event, area families come together and bring tens of thousands of new and gently-used ‘fashionable and trendy’ children’s clothing, shoes, baby equipment, books, electronics, room décor, outdoor playground equipment and pretty much anything you need to raise a child in Wisconsin. “Our focus is on helping moms and dads recycle outgrown and unused items around their homes, providing a wealth of name brand items at significantly reduced prices,” states JBF Dane County West coordinator Teri Anderson.  “However, the real beauty of JBF is that those same parents, plus anyone in the community, can then shop for the items their family needs for the next season. This truly is a win-win solution for everyone raising children in southern Wisconsin.”

Parents, grandparents and anyone who enjoys volunteering can help out at the sale as a team member, which earns them a “shop before the public” pre-sale pass. Team members have the opportunity to shop with a limited number of other team members before the doors are opened to the public.

You’ll also special shopping times for registered new parents, foster parents, grandparents to shop before the public.  And if you don’t fall into one of those groups, an early shopping ticket can be purchased!  It’s all available through danecounty.jbfsale.com! 

In addition, a commitment to community spirit is alive and well: JBF Dane County is proud to partner with WE CARE, a branch of the Southwestern Wisconsin Community Action Program (SWCAP) serving all of Southern Wisconsin since its March 2006 inception. JBF participants help make a difference in the lives of Wisconsin mothers, babies and families by designating unsold items as donations to be collected by WE CARE at the end of the sales event. The Homeless Coalition is also the recipient of all entry fees collected on Friday of the sales event.
