Middleton Players Theatre, Friends of The Middleton Performing Arts Center, and Middleton Community Orchestra will team together to present a staged concert of Rodgers and Hammerstein's CAROUSEL!
Known as Rodgers and Hammerstein's favorite of all their collaborations, CAROUSEL tells the beautiful and heart-wrenching story of a young woman who falls in love with a roustabout carnival barker. Based on Molnar's LILIOM and set against the backdrop of a New England coastal village at the turn of the 20th century, CAROUSEL features some of Rodgers and Hammerstein's most favored and beloved songs such as "If I Loved You" and "You'll Never Walk Alone". Staging 50+ voices backed by 60 orchestra members will create a performance you will never forget!
