Patty and The Buttons--More Great Acoustic Music at the ARK in Viroqua
Patty and The Buttons, a Minneapolis band known for spreading hot rhythms and happy feet bring their music to Viroqua as part of their international album release tour in the Midwest. Patty and The Buttons www.pattyandthebuttons.com will be performing in Viroqua, WI at The Ark Center for The Arts on Saturday, April 4th, 2015 at 7:30. Also on the bill will be Viroqua, WI based group The Yellow Bellied Sapsuckers www.sapsuckersmusic.com. Tickets are $15 and will be available at the door. The concert is a co-production of the Ark and the Kickapoo Barn Dance on community radio station WDRT, 91.9 FM.
Patty and the Buttons are known for a highly engaging live show using both music and vintage comedy to entertain audiences of all ages. In addition to dates in the United States this year, the group has also appeared in Europe to enthusiastic festival audiences.
Their new album The Mercury Blues., has received praise from fans and critics alike. The group focuses on performing original music heavily influenced by American popular music before World War Two. Fronted by vocalist and accordionist Patrick "Patty" Harison, the ensemble also features clarinet, acoustic guitar, and upright bass.
