A 22 YEAR MILWAUKEE TRADITION
SPOOF FEST 2015
CELEBRATING THE MUSIC OF
LIVE AT TURNER HALL BALLROOM
A Milwaukee tradition and favorite created by Brian Miller and Michael Tierney will be taken to greater heights to celebrate it's 22th anniversary. While many major cities have shows in which bands mimic and mock their favorite, and not so favorite, artists, Spoof Fest in Milwaukee has die-hard musicians that seriously push the envelope for costuming, choreography, and schtick. The festival has spawned the creations of now regularly performing bands, most notably the nationally signed and globally touring rock-metal act Beatallica.

When Spoof Fest was being held at Club Garibaldi's, they needed to book two nights due to overwhelming demand. Both nights, the event was sold out with a line of hopeful patrons down the block. Two years ago, Spoof Fest moved to Turner Hall. Each year the crowd has filled the floor, setting new records for number of attendees.
This year's line up features a wide variety of rock, reggae, punk, and pop spoofing: Bob Marley, Kenny Loggins, The Clash, Van Halen, The Kinks, Heart, Black Sabbath, Barenaked Ladies, and Pat Benatar. This event is a highlight of the Spring season at Turner Hall and is not to be missed. Patrons get a full night of music and fun with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. and show beginning at 6:30. Website updates coming soon and more information to be posted as the date nears.
Co-Creator, Brian Miller explains below:
" We are focusing on The Globe years which hosted the event for the first 9 years before is closed. I personally describe it as rock and roll halloween. We do not merely pay tribute to these acts but take on their character, playing on the obvious flaws and idiosyncratic behaviors of the acts being spoofed."
