An Evening of Poetry with Alice Notley
Esteemed poet Alice Notley reads from her most recent works, as well as unpublished upcoming work. She will also take questions from the audience and engage in conversation.
Alice Notley has published over thirty-five books of poetry. She is also an essayist/critic, an editor, and a collagist. Best known as an epic poet and inventor of poetic forms, she has received multiple awards, including the Academy of American Poets’ Lenore Marshall Prize, the Poetry Society of America’s Shelley Award, the Griffin International Prize, two NEA Grants, the Los Angeles Times Book Award for Poetry, and the Ruth Lilly Prize. She currently lives and writes in Paris, France.
