Art+ She Started It

 press release: MMoCA presents ART+ She Started It in collaboration with Ellevate Madison on Thursday, March 23 starting at 5:30 pm. This event will feature a screening of She Started It, an award-winning documentary following five passionate young women who strive to compete in the tech world. Following the screening, a panel discussion on catalyzing female entrepreneurship in Madison will feature:

• Dr. Amy Gannon, co-founder of the Doyenne Group, a Madison organization dedicated to supporting women's entrepreneurship. 
• Simone Doing, artist and entrepreneur, co-founder of the multimedia design studio Midwest Story Lab, and named a 2017 Woman to Watch by BRAVA.
• Winnie Karanja, founder Maydm, an organization that introduces youth to technology through coding, and named a 2017 Woman to Watch by BRAVA.
