Literacy Network is collecting used books (in good condition) now through May for our first annual book sale June 4-7. All proceeds will help keep our classes, tutors, and textbooks free for low-literate adults in our programs. We’re hoping to get volunteers willing to organize book drives at work, school, and in churches to help us ramp up our inventory before our big sale. The more books we have, the more money we’ll be able to raise to support free programs for local low-literate adults.
Once collected, books may be dropped off at the Literacy Network office (1118 S. Park Street) on Wednesdays from 9:30-1:00 or by appointment. To make an appointment to drop off books please call Jen Davie at (608) 244-3911.
