Dead Walk Fest
to
Market Square 6604 Odana Road, Madison, Wisconsin
press release: The Dead Walk Fest rises from the grave to infest the city of Madison. That’s right, zombies are set to invade Madison, Wisconsin on June 11 as a part of a one day zombie film festival. Featuring some of the best unheard of zombie films from all over the world, but also loads of fun with a zombie costume contest and more. Brought to you by the founder of the long running Chicago Horror Film Festival, Jason R. Davis.
Dead Walk Fest features wide variety of zombie films. Twenty films including animated films, comedies, and of course vicious gore infested horror. Featuring "Me and My Mates vs The Zombie Apocalypse," a film being raved about by such horror news sites as www.bloodydisgusting.com, Dead Walk is sure to bring the horror. Me and My Mates is an Australian made zombie film surrounding a group of friends as they fight off the on-coming horde. On the lighter side of films, "For a Few Zombies More" plays many homages to Eastwood styled westerns in this horror comedy. Centering around a woman with no name and an old movie clerk, they must save the one man who might have might have the cure while also rescuing some rare laserdiscs…because what fun would be the zombie apocalypse unless you have some good movies to watch?
In addition to films there will be a zombie costume contest, awards to filmmakers, and more. A full day of zombie goodness hosted by Erica Brown of the Zombie Hotel.
The Dead Walk Fest runs June 11 at the Market Square Theater. For more information, please visit online at www.deadwalkfest.com
