TRAINING FOR SPANISH SPEAKING FAMILIES
“Did You Know? Now You Know!” provides an overview of health insurance and how to best use your benefits, Medicaid and the impact of the Affordable Care Act, long term supports and services, and resources for children with disabilities and special health care needs from birth through young adulthood.
Topics include: Medicaid, Children’s Long Term Support Waivers, prior authorizations,
medical necessity and appealing a Medicaid denial, Katie Beckett (a doorway into
Medicaid for children with disabilities), Family Support, respite and more.

“¿Sabía Usted?! Ahora ya Sabe!” Un entrenamiento que provee una descripción
completa de la cobertura de los servicios de salud, incluyendo Medicaid y también el impacto de la reforma de salud. Servicios de apoyo a largo plazo y recursos para niños con discapacidad, necesidades de cuidados especiales desde su nacimiento hasta la edad de adulto. Incluyendo Temas de: Medicaid, Children’s Long Term Waivers, autorizaciones previas, necesidades medicas y como apelar a una negación del Medicaid, Katie Beckett (forma de Medicaid para niños con discapacidad), Apoyo para su familia y mas.
