press release: A Queer Pressure Collective presentation

we are QUEERS. we gather in the night.

to release our truest selves.

to shed our skins.

to soothe our wounds.

to be in our bodies.

to smash what oppresses us.

to commune with each other.

to dance.

to SWEAT.

**ages 18 –> infinity **  because the queer community is intergenerational

 **$5-10 sliding scale**  because it costs a lot of money to throw a party but we want it to be accessible.

 **all-genders/neutral bathrooms**  because fuck transphobia

 **wheelchair accessible venue** because accessibility is a queer issue

 **predatory behavior, harassment, racism, classism, slut shaming, body shaming, and other bullshit is not tolerated**  because we demand more from each other

 **we are excited to offer a sober space within the venue, on the balcony area**  because nightlife should be welcoming to sober and recovering queers
