Dyslexia
Sequoya Library 4340 Tokay Blvd., Madison, Wisconsin 53711
press release: Everyone seems to be talking about “dyslexia,” but what does it really mean? Many parents of school-age children have found themselves asking questions like are my child’s reading skills developmentally appropriate, should I be concerned that my child is reversing letters/numbers, should I be worried that their reading skills are falling below grade-level? Sometimes finding out what to do after these questions have been raised can be the most overwhelming and frustrating part of all.
If you are a parent or caregiver of a school-age child seeking answers to these questions, we welcome you to come to an informational workshop presented by neuropsychologists Drs. Sarah Porter and Cortney Bindrich of Madison Neuropsychological Services. The purpose of this parent/caregiver-focused workshop is to provide general information of reading development as well as how to address concerns related to reading difficulties in the schools.
Madison Neuropsychological Services, LLC is dedicated to providing comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for patients across the lifespan in efforts to seek diagnostic clarification and inform treatment recommendations.
