"Finding Favre" trailer
After a decade of traveling to places such as Kiln and Hattiesburg, Mississippi, College Station, Texas, Canton, Ohio, and Green Bay, Todd McWilliams has completed his first documentary, Finding Favre.
Finding Favre is a mostly true story, shot over almost 20 years, of Todd McWilliams’ one-sided bromance with Brett Favre, his pursuit of an interview with Brett, and pursuit of a career in the NFL. The documentary is told from the the perspective of a fan, but includes interviews with Bob Harlan, Ron Wolf, Bonita Favre, Jim Carmody and Jeff Bower of University of Southern Mississippi, Tim Favre, coach at Hancock High School, Mike Sherman, Ryan Longwell and many others.
What began as dream to make a documentary in 2006, Todd McWilliams’ documentary is shot in real time over the course of 10 years and includes home videos from as far back as 1999.
The documentary moves in and out of the first Fan Fest in 2005, to the last pass by Favre as a Packer in the NFL championship game, his nasty divorce from the Green Bay Packers, the two years with the Minnesota Vikings, and NFL Hall of Fame ceremonies in Canton.
This documentary is targeted to any sports fan that is passionate and devoted to their favorite team.
