Sunday, May 17, 12:00-1:30pm Garlic Mustard Pull Party
Meet at the Warner Park Shelter by the lagoon at noon. Parking is available nearby. Join Wild Warner members, Scouts, and other volunteers to help pull invasive Garlic Mustard that is choking out native woodland plants and flowers in Warner Woods. No experience necessary. Wear appropriate clothing for gardening and getting a bit muddy. Bring water to drink and a hand tool, if you have one to help dig out shallow roots. Garbage bags will be provided by Madison Parks to dispose of the Garlic Mustard. There is also opportunity to stay afterward and help with nearby Castle Creek restoration wetland planting.
