You’re invited to take part in a special training designed to help you tell your nonprofit organization’s story. MadSkillz: Communication & Outreach Training for Nonprofits is a half-day event that will teach you how to create content, establish relationships with local media and write news releases that get results. MadSkillz will include an overview of the importance of content in communications, a panel discussion with local jouranlists, a news release critique, and networking with other nonprofits.

Cost is $12 and includes a refreshment break. Payment is accepted online until April 22, 2015 or by cash or check at the door. This training is sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America Madison Chapter, with space provided by American Family Insurance.
