Tuesday, March 15 through Sunday, June 5. Overture will be hosting receptions for all three new exhibitions on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. Refreshments will be served in the Promenade Lounge. Overture Galleries are free and open to the public.

Gallery III, An Altered Resemblance: Michael Ward, Ariel Wood

Artists Michael Ward and Ariel Wood explore otherness and human consciousness through abstract and surreal imagery. Ward’s vibrant illustrations, reminiscent of faces, animals and beasts, evoke the absurdity and the whimsy of imagination. Ariel Wood’s images of the familiar made uncanny bring new concepts to preconceived, socially- constructed ideologies.
