May 3, 7 pm — Charlie Curtis, Cornish Master Stonemason (Free)
The kick-off to Mineral Point’s Historic Preservation Weekend: Erik Flesch presents a look into the life of Charlie Curtis, “Cornish Master Stonemason” who worked at Pendarvis and many other Mineral Point buildings plus Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin. This fascinating history lesson includes special appearances by Charlie Curtis and Frank Lloyd Wright.
May 5, 8 pm — WPR Old Time Radio — The Canterville Ghost (Sold Out)
Experience the golden age of radio with a live stage event from Wisconsin Public Radio. Norman Gilliland hosts this family-friendly adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s “The Canterville Ghost” by the 9XM Players. Enjoy an evening of comedy, period costumes, sound effects, music and more. Doors open at 7pm with musical guest beginning at 7:30 and performance at 8pm.
