Pinney Mini Film Fest

press release: The sixth annual Pinney Mini Film Festival is a special after-hours library event. The mini festival will present short films that screened at the 2017 Wisconsin Film Festival, featuring a Q&A with the filmmakers and Wisconsin Film Festival Coordinator Ben Reiser. Films featured will be “Brown Girl” with director Violet Want; “Fake Jewels” with directors Kate Jianqing Feldt and Wesley Morgan; “Finding Home” with directors Megan Monday and Brijetta Hall Waller; “A Place in the Garden” with directors Christina Ciano and Jeff Buss.
Space is limited. Doors will open at 6:00pm, and guests may enjoy light refreshments donated by Willy Street Coop from 6-6:30pm. This event is funded by a generous grant from the Madison Public Library Foundation.
