Madison Ballet closes its season with an intimate performance on the Bartell's cozy Drury stage. The program includes two premieres from company artistic director W. Earle Smith, who is gifted with keen musicality: "Romeo & Juliet Pas de Deux" and "Las Cuatro" set to Ástor Piazzolla’s “Four Seasons of Buenos Aires.” Also premiering are Marlene Skog’s "Internal Divide" and Cynthia Severt’s "Up all Night." Excerpts from Peter Anastos’ sunny frolic, "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" will surely brighten your mood as we transition to spring. Shows at 8 pm, Friday, March 31, and 2 & 8 pm, Saturday, April 1.

Madison Ballet closes its season with a joyous spring celebration of dance and music. Artistic Director W. Earle Smith will premiere two new ballets in this program. The first, "One Last Waltz," takes audiences back to the era of the grand Viennese Waltz. "La Cuatro" is set to Astor Piazzolla's "Four Seasons of Buenos Aires", a dynamic interpretation to Vivaldi's popular suite.
