press release: EZTV have given us another insight into their excellent upcoming album High in Place, premiering a new track on The FADER. The song is called "Reason to Run" and The FADER describe it as "a breezy confluence of baked, magic hour guitar strums and slightly snarling electric riffs. While undeniably easy on the ears, Ezra Tenenbaum's lyrics paint a knotty picture of resilience in the face of alienation and despondency."

The band told The FADER "We're all fans of Many Moons by Real Estate's Martin Courtney. Martin has such a unique sensibility with guitar licks, especially with a 12-string electric guitar. When we toured with Martin in February, he jumped onstage with us for a Flamin Groovies cover with his 12-string, which kind of sparked the idea of him writing a lick specifically for "Reason to Run." He came down to the city a couple of hours before a Woods show and knocked his part out in like half an hour. I think he and Ezra are weirdly simpatico with regard to syncopation and rhythm, so watching the two of them kind of huddle over the guitar was great, on the same wavelength and finishing each others' thoughts".
