Resist Trump: Occupy the Inauguration!

Fri. Jan. 20th 2:00 pm UW-Madison, Library Mall (700 Block of State St.)  Resist Trump – Occupy the Inauguration!  Donald Trump and the reactionary core of the Republican Party are coming to power in 2017 on a platform of racism, sexism, xenophobia, and pro-corporate policies. We must build an independent mass movement of the 99% that vows to use every ounce of our collective body and spirit to stand against Trump's reactionary agenda from Day 1, in Madison and in cities across the country. We are participating in the birth of a mass movement for social and economic justice. Join us in the streets- again! Our demands include:  No Border Wall!; Stop the deportations of undocumented immigrants!; Tax rich millionaires like Trump!; Fund healthcare for all!; Make college free!; Black Lives Matter!; End rape culture!; Stop the Dakota Access Pipeline! Green Jobs now!

Gather at Library Mall at 2pm and shortly after event is introduced, March to State Capitol for end rally on State St. Steps.
