Fresh off their latest SXSW run, Brooklyn’s Sharkmuffin hits the road ahead of the May release of their second long-player, Tsuki. Their template of grungy, aggressive pop hasn’t changed substantially over the last few years (a good thing), except for a creeping edge of glam rock (ditto). Sharkmuffin’s Tarra Thiessen also fronts tourmates Ex-Girlfriends, a more directly punk attack and a provident pairing with locals Once a Month and Miyha.
press release: “Sharkmuffin are either the most glam garage band around, or the grungiest glam band around.” – NPR
“There’s a certain 90s feel to the music they make, driven by demanding but never desperate hollers.” – Billboard
“…new punks with old school sensibilities…this is a vicious band with plenty of teeth.” – Consequence of Sound

Tsuki will be released on May 5 via Little Dickman Records.
