"Solar Activity and Its Influence on Us" by Prof. Alex Lazarian, UW-Madison Astronomy Dept. Prof. Lazarian is an expert on astrophysical magnetic fields, reconnection of magnetic fields resulting in solar flares, astrophysical turbulence, cosmic rays and dust. His talk will focus on magnetic fields related to solar activity.
