Susan Holding, Le Cordon Bleu-trained pastry chef, will discuss her new book, The Little French Bakery Cookbook, on Wednesday, April 8, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Verona Public Library. The cookbook is a collection of recipes, stories, and photographs by Holding from her cooking school days. The book contains over 100 recipes and 140 photos. The photos of Paris streets and its culinary world show Holding’s love of France. There is also a pastry-lovers’ chapter full of tips and informative lessons for making croissants, pate a choux, tart crusts, and more. Books will be available for sale and signing. Visit Holding’s website at littlefrenchbakery.com.
