Taste of Green County

press release: Tickets are on sale now for the first annual Taste of Green County. The event is a fundraiser to benefit Boy Scouts in the Arrowhead District and Blackhawk Area Boy Scout Council.
Slated for Friday evening, July 29, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Minhas Brewery 1208 14th Avenue, Monroe, the event will benefit Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venture Scouts and Explorers in Green, Lafayette and Grant Counties.
Tickets for Taste of Green County are $30 each and may be purchased at Wisconsin Bank and Trust in Monroe and Max’s Threads in Monroe. Also, those wanting tickets may contact Lori VanNatta @ 608-214-3993 or Matt Ohms at 920-723-5999.
The tasting rooms at Minhas Brewery will be the site of the fundraiser. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the brewery at 7:00 PM, try Minhas brews and taste sample sized foods from many of Green County’s favorite restaurants and vendors. Food providers for the event include Barb’s Kitchen, Buggyworks Restaurant and Pub, Bullets, Colony Brands, Inc, Frank’s Franks, Green County Ag Chest, Green County Smokeshack, Klondike Cheese, Maple Leaf Cheese and Rainbow Confections.
Throughout the evening, there will also be musical entertainment and drawings for numerous large ticket items, as well as Silent Auctions for dozens of donated items!
The perfect ending to a great new event in Monroe: Boy Scout Homemade Cobbler made in Dutch Ovens on site paired with ice cream from the Green County Ag Chest.
