East side’s popular Crema Cafe is sharing a complete spring menu and recipes using local products on Wednesday, May 13 at 6:00pm at the Monona Public Library’s May Seasonal Chef program: “Unraveling Risotto & Other Delights”. Crema Cafe’s Chef Dave will walk through the steps to make Wild Mushroom and Asparagus Risotto and Chili Roasted Pork Loin (from Jordanal Farms, Verona, WI). He will also prepare an Arugula and citrus salad (featuring produce from Vitruvian Farms, McFarland, WI). Pastry Chef Rachel DePalma will also create mini cupcakes. The program will consist of live demonstrations, cooking tips, Q & A, free samples, and recipes. This is a free program and is for adults and older teens.
