POSTPONED: Walter Salas-Humara, Gerald Dowd
Kiki's House of Righteous Music 1326 MacArthur Road, Madison, Wisconsin 53714
A message from Kiki Schueler:
I'm sure you knew it was coming, and it's incredibly disappointing, but due to the ongoing pandemic the following shows have been postponed.
April 3 The Low Czars
April 14 Steve Wynn
April 16 Robbie Fulks
April 18 German Art Students
May 2 Walter Salas-Humara/Gerald Dowd
I am working on rescheduling all of them before the end of the year, hopefully sooner rather than later. I will keep the reservation list and any advance donations, and let you know when I have a new date. If you would like me to cancel your reservation and rip up your check (or refund cash), just let me know. If you bought tickets online for the Steve Wynn show, you should be contacted soon by his booking agent, if you haven't already.
As of now (March 19), the Sam Baker show scheduled for May 10 is still on, fingers crossed.
I'm going to miss you guys. Now that I have no reason to clean, I probably won't. Take care of yourselves, take care of each other, and be smart. I'll see you when we come out the other side.
press release: May 2, 8 pm (doors at 7) Walter Salas-Humara/Gerald Dowd, suggested donation $15.
Basement favorite Walter Salas-Humara returns to the basement for his eighth show at KHoRM. He cemented his fave status early on by playing my third show ever with his band the Silos. He brings with him Gerald Dowd, one of the best people in the whole wide world. Drummer extraordinaire and fantastic songwriter, it has been far too long since he's been to the house.
Reservations will be taken for this show at righteousmusicmgmt@gmail.com. On confirmation there is space available you can guarantee your spot by sending a check to Kiki Schueler, 1326 MacArthur Rd, Madison WI 53714.
Parking Alert: There is now no parking on either side of MacArthur Rd. You can still park on the side streets but allow a little extra time to find a spot. If you park on Ellenwood or Duncan off of Mendota there's a little path up to MacArthur Court which leads right to my door.
All shows are all ages and BYOB, I'll have coolers with ice available. As always, all money goes to the musicians.
