Wisconsin Civic Participation Lecture Series
Edgewood College-Sonderegger Science Center 1000 Edgewood College Drive, Madison, Wisconsin 53711
The Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service, David R. Obey Civic Resource Center and Wisconsin Humanities Council present a unique opportunity for students and the general public to hear directly from two long-time congressional leaders.
Former U.S. Reps. Dave Obey and Tom Petri are traveling to college campuses throughout Wisconsin to discuss with students and community members how they, as citizens, can further political causes through bipartisanship.
The public is invited to their next stop, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Wednesday, April 15, 2015, in the Sonderegger Science Center at Edgewood College.
Mr. Obey, a Democrat, served Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District from 1969 to 2011. Mr. Petri, a Republican, served Wisconsin’s 6th Congressional District from 1979 to January 2015.
