International Fest packs the Overture Center with free dance and musical performances for a day, but for some the real draw is the International Cafe. The Italian Workmen's Club will be back with meatball and Italian beef sandwiches (FYI -- the meatballs sell out early); the Polish Heritage Club folks are bringing kielbasa, pierogis and bigos (hunter's stew); Spice Yatra will have Indian dishes paneer makhani, vegetable curry, chana masala and spinach or kadai chicken. Turtle Island will serve Ojibwe fry bread; Cafe Costa Rica and Jamerica will offer some of their menu faves, and Dolci Italian-American Sweets will sell homemade biscotti, cannoli torte and Italian butter cookies. 10:30 am-5 pm Feb. 21, at Overture, 201 State St. overturecenter.org/programs/international-fest. Admission is free, food runs $2-$10.
