For the occasion of our 35th anniversary, Isthmus dug through its archives and collective memory banks to come up with 35 notable Madisonians from the last 35 years.
These are people we think have made sustained and important contributions to Madison. Not surprisingly, all are people the paper has covered over the years, with some measure of affection.
Of course, other choices were possible and worthy people overlooked. But this sampling gives some sense of the richness of the Madison community.
