Caustic's latest set of power noise is drenched with indecency. But don't go thinking Madison's bald and bearded industrial teddy bear isn't inspired by a set of artistic values. On MySpace, Caustic rails against misogyny and mocks the clichéd use of porn clips in industrial music videos.
Caustic takes the high ground on Jizzcore (is that possible?), setting himself apart by tossing around genital slang in only the coolest ways. The energy seeping out of Caustic's commanding beats roars like a river of adrenaline. Exaggerated expression (up to 260 beats per minute) colors every passage, incessant in its drive to defeat the forces of lethargy, indifference and social superiority.
Lyrically, the disc throws rocks at moral conventions. "I Want to Stay Wasted" is a spoken-word (actually grunted-word) track that celebrates the comfort of drowning your sorrows.
Ultimately, Caustic pounds away at the social order we know. He does so not just to tear it down, but to build something new. "I'm an agent of chaos here to ruin it all," he screeches near the start of the album. "I want to tear it down to save your soul."
