UP: Crushin' All Forces. Madison's teen hip-hop dance team advances to the finals of Black Entertainment Television's national dance show. The team, led by Madison East senior Bryan Mayberry, surprised their competitors from New York and the Caribbean. The finals will be broadcast on BET this spring.
DOWN: Robert D'Angelo. The former Overture Center director is indicted by a federal grand jury on 39 counts. He allegedly used city employees and city resources to run two private businesses on the side. D'Angelo, 63, is also accused of money laundering and filing false federal income tax returns. D'Angelo allegedly ran his side businesses from 1999 to 2005, making more than $238,000 in gross revenues. He retired in 2005 amid accusations of sexual harassment.
