This is a pretty short for Mayor Cieslewicz, who like many is putting in a day or two at the office before taking off for the holidays. Mundane meetings and undifferentiated "work time" dominate, but there is one thing that stands out on the brief schedule: a video shoot commemorating the 100th anniversary of the seeking stories from community members who have been impacted by its various programs and services over the years.
"We are proud to be almost 100 years old," declares the Madison YWCA. "It is no small accomplishment and it has happened due to the dedication of literally thousands of donors, members, friends, supporters and staff over the past 100 years who have contributed generously to make this an organization where excellence meets empowerment. To each and everyone we say a heart felt thank you."
