Mayor Dave Cieslewicz's office makes it a point each year to point out that he's not just taking a few vacation days in late November, he's going deer hunting. This is always presented as kind of a refutation, as though those who criticize Mayor Dave for being a bleeding-heart lefty will somehow be turned back at the news that he likes to head into the woods and blow away animals for fun.
Let's just hope we're not in for more of this brand adjustment by the mayor's team. I'm not looking forward to "Bowling Night" or "Meat Raffle" showing up on future weekly schedules.
