Mayor Dave Cieslewicz's schedule is packed this week with events both whimsical (a message for Madison's Musical Holidays CD) and sustainable (another check-in with the Natural Step group). Most interesting, perhaps, is the ride-along with city appraiser Karen Karnel on Thursday.
Coming off the construction of his city budget proposal, won't this session provide too much temptation for Mayor Dave? What might happen if Karnel loses track of her clipboard along the route? Do the mayor's political enemies have anything to fear from this morning exercise? Does Cieslewicz has motives beyond simply learning about another aspect of city business?
Most importantly, is this the end of "Weekly Whereabouts"?
