Justen Brock, 30, of Mount Horeb pleads no contest to a hit-and-run charge for an accident that killed Gregory McCullick, 20, in July. Brock was driving home from a wedding at a farm near Mount Horeb when he hit fellow guest McCullick, who was walking along the road. McCullick's body was not found until the next day. Brock faces up to 15 years in prison.
Goodyear reaches a tentative pact with 15,000 workers, including 250 in Sun Prairie, who have been on strike since early October over the tire company's plans to close plants and impose a multi-tier wage system. The new contract still must be ratified by union members.

Rikita Lee, 21, of Madison is killed in a car crash at Whitney Way and Hammersley Road. Police do not identify the 19-year-old driver, who is tentatively charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle.
Public health officials say nearly 100 area residents have become ill with a norovirus, which causes vomiting and diarrhea. About 60 people who attended holiday parties at Monona Terrace and the Edgewater Hotel became ill, as have some residents of the Sunny Hill Health Care Center, a Madison nursing home, and patients at Madison's veterans hospital.
Peter MuÃoz, head of Centro Hispano, announces plans to run for Madison mayor.
