Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans: In post-Katrina New Orleans, a corrupt cop (Nicolas Cage) investigates a horrific crime and, meanwhile, steals, takes drugs, and bets on football. Werner Herzog's nightmarish vision either is highly entertaining camp or it is exquisitely bad, or both.

The Collector: As a handyman (Josh Stewart) robs his new employer's country home, a "collector" (Juan Fernández) arrives to set some lethal traps for the family. Despite top-notch effects, this feels like a series of leftover gore gags from the fading torture-porn genre.
